Ingredients

Dry

  • 250 grams of flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
Wet
  • 140 grams of melted butter
  • 140 grams of coconut or muscovado sugar
  • 58 grams of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yolk
Extras
  • Walnuts chopped to like
  • 80 grams of dark chocolate

Process

  • In a bowl mix the dry ingredients.
  • In another bowl, mix the butter with the sugar. Once mixed, add the egg first, mix and then the yolk and mix.
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry bowl and stir.
  • Add the nuts and chopped chocolate and mix again.
  • Form large balls of dough and refrigerate for at least 45 min before baking.
  • Bake for 10-12 min at 200°C.
