Crispy Chocolate Waffles

Keto, Paleo, gluten-free, sugar-free and with the option of being vegan.
Ingredientes
·1 large egg (as a substitute it can also be flaxseed egg: 1 tablespoon of flaxseed powder + 3 tablespoons of water and let it soak for 5-10 minutes)
· 1/2 cup of almond flour
· 2 tablespoons Monk Fruit
· 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
· 1/4 teaspoon of salt
· 1 tablespoon of CULTO Cacao Powder
· 2 tablespoons of unsweetened almond cream
· 2 tablespoons of ghee (you can substitute with coconut oil to make your waffles vegan)
· 1/4 cup of almond milk
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
- Grease the waffle iron with butter, ghee or coconut oil. Plug and turn on (on a medium level)
- Melt the butter or coconut oil + almond cream in a bowl
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Add the melted almond oil + cream
- Add the almond milk and vanilla
- Add the beaten egg or flaxseed egg at the end
- Mix everything well
- Add about half of the mixture or a little less to the waffle iron and cook over medium heat for approx. 3 minutes, here it depends on your waffle maker.
For topping add whatever you like, I added a little blackberries, walnuts, cinnamon and maple syrup (be careful if you are on keto).
